CBS Sports
WTF people? Every other team in the ACC should quit football and just let Clemson walk away with the conference every year. Deon hasn't done anything in coaching that makes him qualified.

If you thought Urban Meyer or Bob Stoops were eye-popping, perhaps unbelievable options to replace Willie Taggart at Florida State, just read the next sentence. Former Seminoles All-American and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has "emerged as a candidate" to become the next Florida State coach, according to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Though Sanders, 52, has coached at the high school level, he has never coached for a college program or professional team and has spent the vast majority of his post-athletic career serving as a TV analyst, first for CBS Sports and currently for NFL Network.

UT needs to hire Jim Bob Cooter. The man the myth the legend. He is currently the RBs coach for the Jets. Been in the NFL for 10+ years. Was a UT legend and never had a meaningful snap. I went to High School with him. He holds record for most positions started at by a player in a single season. He started at least one game in each of the following: QB (primary), TE, FB, OG, DE, DT, MLB, LB, SS. He was so smart even in high school and had such a high football IQ he could play any position and was serviceable at them all.

Please let it be done!

The Tennesseeification of FSU may be complete.

I can't hardly believe they would do that. If they hired a coaching search firm and they came up with that I would be asking for my money back.
I guess this would tickle the Gators though

It's not as far-fetched as it seems. It's already happening in basketball (Juwan, Penny, Stackhouse, Ewing, etc.), so it's only a matter of time before it trickles to football. Not saying he'll be good, but someone definitely is gonna make a move like this sooner or later.

It would be glorious...
He and Michael Irvin would be co-offensive coordinators. And bring in Ed Reed or Ray Lewis in as his D coordinators. Let Randall Cunningham be qb coach.. I could go on!
