@RossDellenger
Exclusive: Cardiologists are finding so few heart issues in athletes they are no longer recommending screenings for most COVID positives.
Early data says <1% of athletes who were mildly symptomatic are showing heart abnormalities.
When the Big Ten instituted a 21-day window before players can return from a positive virus test, cardiac screening was the big reason why. Now, cardiologists say that testing may not be needed for many.
Amid Developing Science, Does Big Ten's 21-Day COVID Protocol Still Make Sense?

They get to feel morally superior by relying on a flawed study though

I imagine they'll still screen coaches.
Not all of them are in as good shape as Saban

How stupid does Kevin Warren feel? Once all this clears up, he should get the can, but he won’t because he’s a minority.

The big 10 designed these protocols for their season to fail

He doesn't feel stupid. He wants the season to fail and he wants people in the Midwest to be miserable. There is no coincidence that there was a Biden campaign ad featuring an empty Michigan Stadium within 24 hours of their initial cancelation announcement.

The biggest thing we are learning is Covid is highly contagious and people with underlying conditions are susceptible to severe conditions and even death.
I hat I know is that we will all get it and masks don’t work for shite.

I want all of the limp wristed losers who were defending the Big10/Pac12 for just "looking out for the players" to come and apologize to this board for your virtue signaling buffoonery.

I’m an APN working for a cardiologist and we have yet to have a single case of myocarditis or pericarditis via echo on a COVID patient, even those we’ve done on inpatients.
There are people getting sick and dying from this disease, but this is a lung disease not a heart disease. Any heart damage is secondary to lung damage caused by the virus

Remember all the dire warnings about mystery conditions that could attack far later after COVID?
Remember how they said there were bodies stacked like cordwood?
Remember how all emergency rooms were overflowing into the hallways and there would never be enough ventilators?

I think this is a situation where it’s okay to have been better safe than sorry.
