Wonder how long it takes for him to get a big time job. If I was SC I'd fire Muschamp and just take the gamble now. His son plays defense for SC and recruiting would be off the charts. Just hire good assistants and let's go

Deion was possibly the greatest athlete in football.

Does not mean he can coach it. Sometimes people as insanely gifted as Deion do not know how to get the best out of less talented people. So I'd hold off on thinking he gets a big job anytime soon. Look at the best coaches in football. How many were elite players?

How much coaching does a HC actually do though? Hire good people around you , that's the key. Im sure he has great connections

The superstar athletes are rarely elite coaches.

The list is Mike Ditka & Bill Russell.

Bird was good, but never elite.
