either way, recruits are about to pay attention to JSU. Who better to play for than 3 hall of famers

Always appreciated Teague defending the star as a Cowboys fan.

This is a bit like Penny at Memphis.

Well its still bound to go better than Penny at Memphis in basketball. I'm assuming these guys won't pay a commits family to move to JSU.

I can think of many many coaches that would be better to play for. Being a great player usually /= being a great coach.

You'll see big names tweeting their offers from JSU.
You won't see big names actually choosing JSU.

Dennis Thurmond played for USC and the Cowboys.
Edwards played for FSU and the Cowboys.
Jason Phillips played for UofH in the run and shoot offense.
I watched all of these guys play in college.
Everyone knows Sapp and Owens.

Jackson St.can't have much of an athletic budget, so how can Deon afford 2 such high profile ex NFL'ers?

Who knows what is true? Deion says this list is false, lol

Ran into Sapp, Emmitt Smith, and Eric Dickerson this weekend at a hotel in Dallas. Sapp wasn't very pleasant.

Who better to play for than a guy that was naturally the fastest guy on any field and proudly proclaimed he didn’t need to work hard to be good, a guy that went bankrupt immediately after retirement, and a head case that tore apart any locker room he stepped foot in?
They wouldn’t compare to Saban... but if I were an athlete on JSU’s radar, I’d certainly rather play for them than :Insert No Name White 40 Year Old:

84 years of NFL experience on that staff.
They have pretty much said that their plan was to land guys who want to go to the NFL, not necessarily win the College Football Playoff. JSU has already contacted Netflix about a series.
Jackson State has four in the NFL Hall of Fame. Probably five next year. If these guys can coach, they are about to wreck HBCU football. If they are successful, they could challenge how college football operates.

I can see recruiting violations in the near future for JSU.

So, they are marketing themselves as handlers posing as CFB coaches?
