Why do Auburn and Georgia accept this title? They are actually the South’s oldest rivalry. The first AU-UGA game was in February 1892. The first UNC-UVA game was in October 1892. UNC and UVA have played more games, because they played twice the first year. And there are those years we didn’t play because of World Wars which affects the totals, but we still played FIRST. I say we hit the streets and riot until this injustice is corrected.

We could get him plenty of hats during the riots.

We know that. Auburn-Georgia is The South’s Oldest Rivalry. Not UNC-UVA which they claim. Come on, join the protest/riot. We can get some good stuff in Chapel Hill and Charlottesville. You might come back with a Michael Jordan jersey.

The only thing you need concern yourself with, is that Georgia is fine with the designation. And seeing as we run this rivalry, that's all you need to know.

Imagine being a byproduct of the French and still trying to act as if you have some sense of pride.

If you can, you’re probably from Canada, or inbred-Canada (Louisiana).

Virginia is not a Southern State in a cultural sense, at all. But tDSOR has a better ring to it, anyways.

Deep south or not it was/is still part of the south.

Maybe you need to learn about a certain "line" that distinguishes what is a "southern" state? Perhaps one needs to learn history? Maybe try and determine what caused west virginia to split off from virginia, the difference between the two, which of the two is considered a "southern" state and why...

Then come back and say it's "not deep south."
