How can I be a rival with fans I only see maybe once a year???

I mean ok that works for Auburn (we're beneath you but the boogs aren't?) but do you spend a lot of time around Tennessee fans?

Lol you're young. What happens in a few years if LSU is mediocre and we're competing with AandM for the top spot every year? Does LSU cease to be our rival, and then AandM becomes our rival.

Every SEC game (except UK and Vandy) are rivalry games with LSU. I'm not sure why this is, but it's heated with whatever team we play.

I think in general Alabama fans are concentrated more in the northern and western parts of the state and Auburn is more concentrated in the southern parts. UT is pretty close for a lot of people, especially for those from the Huntsville area.

LSU considers whoever is the best in the west to be their rival. It just so happens that this time around it has been Bama' for the last few years. Ironically, in this case, most Bama fans didn't want to accept LSU as a rival up until now, but the joke is on the gumps. We make you our rival when it applies. We don't care if you make us yours. JMO but a rivalry consists of two essential qualities. Both teams play above their normal potential and winning that game can nine times out of ten be considered a good season. The LSU game qualifies for both. The LSU players play their very best against Us. Most LSU fans consider Jordan Jamal Jefferson a total failure but he sure as shite played well against Us every game except New Orleans. This is a rivalry game man and it's smug to say otherwise.

Your opinion is wrong.

Rivalries involve hate. At this point, the only people with hate in their hearts are the Tigers. Maybe they could knock a statue down or something. Right now, they are just a good team we play every year.

We will see where it goes with time. Eventually it may become more natural of a rivalry. I think we are their second biggest rival in the state though. Our games with them have been tight recently because both teams have been so good, but LSU-Auburn seems to always be intense and physical

TideTurf, I agree with you, and I am probably older than most of these guys who assume if you don't agree you must be young.
