Lost in all of the shite posting was the injury to Swift. Any insider news from sauces around UGA? Hopefully they held him out for precautionary reasons and he will be ready to go against LSU.

it's a shoulder contusion, just got popped pretty good.

Nothing serious and he'll definitely play. May not be fully 100% but nothing that would keep him out of the game.

He’s healthy enough to play.

He's a true junior but he'll obviously leave early.

Most likely. Especially if he gets a high draft grade.

I don’t see how he doesn’t. Even at less than 100% he is still a top running back in the SEC. Imagine how bad Fromm would be without him.

It looked as if it was a non contact injury almost. The replay I saw was kinda weird in that I saw no major impact. Maybe I didn’t look closely enough?

We will find out next year. After the season he has had, doubt Fromm goes anywhere.

Fortunately we don’t lose a lot in seniors offensively (Charlie Woerner probably the biggest loss along with Cager and Wolf who were grad transfers this year) but we will definitely lose Swift and Andrew Thomas with a possibility of losing Solomon Kindley and Isaiah Wilson from the OL

I think he just bruised his ego after the second fumble...

Read up on this and UGA fans speculating his left shoulder hasnt been near 100% recently. They noted he never carries the ball in his left hand and the shoulder being the issue is why, and also contributes to his fumbling problems because he often will have the ball exposed to a tackling defender as a result of not switching hands during a carry.

Just the OC. Swift looked amazing against us last year until the OC decided to try an air attack on the day Fromm was not playing his best. Not sure what we did to get that gift from your OC but I hope it happens again

I mean he has had injury problems throughout his time, last year it was a groin injury that had him less than 100%.

But UGA fans have been speculating the same about Fromm having a nagging shoulder injury or eye issue that isn’t being reported. I think it’s just fans trying to explain why players who have been good in the past suddenly aren’t producing at the same or a higher level than before.

I believe that was actually Holyfield who was tearing up LSUs defense last year before Chaney went full air raid. Didn’t help that Fromm had his first truly bad day in BR, too, because going away from what works to catch a defense off guard only works if you can, you know, complete passes

Aranda changed the alignment on the defensive front early on. When he changed the math, we took away the run. Their early success in Baton Rouge was all scheme. As simple as positioning.
