25 days.

That's how long it has been since Butch Jones was fired.

Pundits and commentators described the program as "hitting an all-time low" in the weeks before Butch's firing. Folks really thought the program had hit rock bottom.

Man were those frickers wrong. 25 days is all it took to dismantle an average program into an unserviceable stack of shite. In those 25 days, the wheels have completely fallen off and the wagon rolled into a ditch tragically killing everyone inside.

And all they wanted to do was get head start in the coaching carousel

Serious question: What’s Butch Jones doing now?
(other than laughing)
Any rumors?

We're are in a much better position than we were 25 days ago. The fans and boosters have taken the power back. The Haslams are no longer in control and we have a competent AD. But by all means, keep lapping up the narrative the mainstream media hacks feed you.

Funny how Tennessee fans referred to him as a cuck.

He was at the Tennessee High School Championships in Cookeville last weekend. Other than that, who knows.

Based on what's being said, Fulmer has offered Pruitt the job but Pruitt wants to finish the season much like Kirby did before going to UGA. But Fulmer wants him to start recruiting for Tenn right away. That seems to be a major sticking point.

They left NY separately.

I remember when Bama fans and boosters basically revolted. Ran Gene Stallings off and hired Dubose.

What is really funny is them looking to Fulmer as a savior when the trend of football coaches being ADs died off decades ago for a reason.

In fairness to UT, it took Mal Moore 38 days and multiple rejections to finally talk Saban into the job.

Maybe Fulmer is really working Urban Meyer the same way?
