Could draw more media attention for a player than Alabama, LSU or Florida. Because of being in Chicago under the new rules if passed. I sure 5 stars are going to flock to Lake Forest College.

Obviously Chicago will come with more “attention” than Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge or Gainesville.
But schools like that will never be relevant enough to blow those kids up,
Now if the right coach gets into place at USC then it would get really interesting. That early 2000’s crew for USC were basically movie stars in LA.

No need to make a thread calling out one poster. DL is good people, so take it easy brocefus.
Also not really wanting to jump in the argument mid-stream, but I would think that can happen the same way the USFL took Herschel Walker away from the NFL. Money talks, and many of these high profile athletes do not care about the tradition of college football.

You are 100% correct. Lake Forest stadium seats 2000 with no vistor side. They sound smaller than a 1A high school.
But Dawgslife claims they have the money to beat out Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson.

Lake forest is a very nice community. Would live there again.
The old money folks who live there don’t give two shits about college football aside from occasional Michigan and notre dame fans.
I don’t see lake forest college ever drawing the recruits.
Now northwestern university I don’t know....
