Seriously. I think King is a hell of a QB who is an elite all around athlete.

1) He wasn't in the portal.
2) No guarantee that he's interested. I think you can probably assume they at least kicked the tires over the past few months.

Not in the portal but I'm ok with Newman. There's talk that we're getting another OC to fix our offense so I'm not upset. King will be good wherever he goes.

Sure King wasn't in the portal but we're talking about Kirby. You don't think Kirby had intel that King would be entering the portal or could've gotten such intel? It has been speculated for months now that King would transfer.

My guess is that King had made it clear where he would end up, and it is not UGA.

King makes no sense in UGA's offense. Kind of like Fields didn't either.
King is a midget spread option shotgun QB.
Fields is more versatile but way way more comfortable in a shotgun based offense.

The Dawgs keep saying their offense will be changed so I'm taking their word for it. That midget spread QB isn't a knock anymore.

I'm asking because Kirby is a great recruiter but his offense needs revamping. So, I thought he'd look at getting the best transfer QB and that's King.

Newman was the best transfer available to enroll at uga, and Kirby got him. Also got the best tight end transfer available

I rather have the offense revamped than getting another grad transfer QB.

If the new qb can hit open passes, and run for positive yardage, then no one would be whining about our offense.
