The cool thing is we don't have to listen to anyone say , "Yeah, but Kirby hasn't proven he can win any hardware with those players."

Losing lots of players does not equal sustained success. Not to say in 1-2 years you won’t be on top but get ready for some 8-9 wins seasons especially once you arent just playing the putrid East and Aubbie every year.

Alabama and Georgia tied this year with 10 each.

You’d be going nuts if LSU did that.

After Kirby's first year at UGA...

13 wins
11 wins
12 wins
Covid reduced season
14 wins
15 wins

I'd say UGA has had sustained success, and I'd say an 8 or 9 win season is just not in the picture for the foreseeable future.

Look around college football right now. Take a good long look. Then revisit your statement. You might learn something about yourself that you might not want to learn, but it will be better for society if you do.

Remember all those people that said “Kirby can’t develop”???

We’re basically the eagles farm team now.

Kirby sustain success by the way he rotates his players during the game. Underclassmen gets tons of reps. It benefits most players and the system. Selfish players like Bear Alexander and a few others leave because of this thinking the grass is greener on the other side.

That's how it works with Les and Ed.

That's not how it works with Kirby. It's incredible that after losing 15 players to the draft and winning a second title that you'd have the balls to say we'll have a couple of 8-9 win seasons. Kirby hasn't had an 8 wins season since his first year except for COVID, which would've been nine if Vandy hadn't canceled.

Our schedule last year rivaled anyone in the country by the time it was done. We won every game and only had two that we sweated.

So Bama's not the only team living in the past.

In this year's draft, Bama had the #1 overall pick. That trumps UGA in this draft.

Please…Richt inherited great recruits from Donnan. Never been a shortage of talent in Athens. With Kirby we have a top 1 or 2 coach at the helm. Gas on the fire and it has shown. Not even possible to have 8 or 9 wins per season. Richt barely had those.

The next 20+ years are going to be painful for other SEC fans. It is what it is

Bama must have done well this last season with the #1 pick and so many more taken in the draft. How well did this star-studded draft class do in their final season as college football superheroes?

The purpose of getting kids high in the draft is to help in recruiting.

The purpose of recruiting is to build a great program.

The purpose of a great program is to win national titles.

For the last two years, Georgia has fulfilled it's purpose.

Congrats on the draft and the no. 1 and no. 3 picks.
