Kyle Peterson of ESPN picked LSU to win 2 of 3. Said if it came down to bullpen then State. But LSU starting pitchers will go 8 innings so LSU sweeps.

I feel pretty good about this series. I think lsu is going to play well. Idgaf about any of that jinx or reverse jinx bs...kick that arse tigers!

Let me assure you of a few things..we WILL hit homeruns in the series,multiple,we will most likely get 2 out of 3 fantastic ,at least , 6.5 or 7 inning starts.
All of that's good for us.
But ,then you WILL NEVER be out of any of those games and no lead is safe for us ...you can literally be down 10 in the 7th or 8th and be completely confident that you can win the game.
Compared to other college players
Lsu saturday pitcher,still has a 0.0 era and is world class
Lsu friday pitcher- world class ,throws 98
Lsu Sunday pitcher- above average easily even in the sec.
Lsu hitting for avg- about avg with a few world class batters
Lsu power- I'd love someone to argue we arent the best weve been here in a long time,best in the nation maybe.
Lsu setup guy as of now - freshman that's damn good
Lsu closer as of now- first team all American last year and is getting back into form if last outing wasnt a fluke
Lsu middle reliever / bullpen- we have a hit or miss curveballs specialist that was a freshman all American a looong time ago.
Another freshman or two that have some stuff.
The other 5 to about 8 guys- shite water . Complete arse . They will keep lsu from a natty in the next year or two or three. Major weakness that wont allow success at a high level until they improve drastically or sign better guys out of high school next year.
They are so bad that they cant even throw strikes
Lsu infield defense- shite water
Lsu behind the plate- best defensive catcher lsu has had in 10 years ,but his bat is so bad that he may have to sit occasionally
Lsu outfield d -crews and gio and dugas are all great in the field.
Tiger lunatik can offer more
All of that's good for us.
