Meh, it's not really choking when the team already overachieved all year. This team has never been the best team. It's just always been the toughest. LSU sure couldnt do shite against them.

Arkansas was picked third in the west and were outside the top 10 in the polls. Which means that Arkansas was having issues with pitching from the year before. So they overachieved.

The #1 overall seed has only won the CWS once since 1999. This is baseball so you could say the #1 seed is due….

He is saying that Arkansas is not the most talented team in the nation and were certainly not picked to win the CWS in any preseason polls.

This team lost 16-1 to Alabama, and also lost to Texas A&M, Georgia, South Carolina, Auburn, the list goes on but they just always had the testicular fortitude to win a 2nd game.
We have 1 good and 2 decent pitchers and nobody in our lineup hits over .300.
Look at SEC stats and tell me this is the best team.

It’s kind of true
Our pitching has been inconsistent at best outside of Kopps, and while the bats have been good for most of the year, they’ve gone somewhat cold recently and we’ve had to rely on Kopps to basically shut the other team down.

DVH is coach of the year for a reason. He won with a team that shouldn't be in the position they are right now.
