Wow LSU @ LSU, Auburn and potential alabama(sec Championship) maybe the only close games next year. The rest look like blowouts. Build a strong team in the SEC east and you got like 5 automatic wins. Kirby came in at the right time I think it will be a few more years before UF and Tenn can even compete again. UF way before Tenn though.

LSU basically starting a freshman qb and has maybe 3 returning starters on offense. Might not be too hard. Our Defense will be good but we shall see on offense.

I agree South Carolina is definitely getting better. The rest not so much I think Mullen needs a few years to get UF back on track.

Your defense is very good, and you have recruited well the past several years. The talent should be there....and it's at LSU. I think it'll be a really good game.

We think our offense could be as good or better than this year, but our defense should take a step back.

Did your defense lose any upperclassmen (besides Key)? I've heard this automatically means you'll be taking a step back.

Loss Tolliver and Jackson in our secondary but honestly glad to see them go. They both never really impressed me anyway. We have great talent waiting to start in the secondary. We lost 3 seniors that weren't really that good on the dline. There was a reason that were at LSU for 4 years. Our Defense will be good.

Typically things have a way of balancing out. '18s schedule is easy as pie (all things considered I mean), whereas in '19 we get Texas A&M from the west, Notre Dame OOC, and play UT/AU/gt on the road.

I know you asked this a bit tongue in cheek but we also lost Donte Jackson and Kevin Tolliver (2 of our 3 starting CBs), lost 3 d-line that played a bulk of the snaps, lost 2 starting linebackers (outside of Key).

Dline should be even better with a couple of studs that had to sit out last year, and our DBs will always be a strength at LSU. We are thin at linebacker but outside of having an alabama type injury season this year, should be ok. Lots of inexperience there though.

Key played like 3 games all year. Never got back to his 2016 level of play either so his lost sucks but didn't contribute much last season anyway.

I was actually impressed with what I saw from Donte Jackson but the dude dropped so many easy picks.
