Was he planning/thinking about going overseas or something?

He declared for the draft and went through the process. The thought was that he may leave to play international ball or in the G league.

Was in G-league combine, probably where he ends up if not overseas.
But we pay better with our strong arse offers so

A really huge returner for us to give us a big time vet to go along with the newcomers.
Days was one of the most efficient offensive players in country last year and has been since his sophomore year pretty much. Always has a super high 2 point % number and he exploded from 3 finally last season on decent volume. Also a very good offensive rebounder.
In kenpom he was 24th this past season and 27th his sophomore year in offensive rating out of over 2100 players that qualified for that metric.

When he scored 10+ points we we’re 18-1 last year. He’s a key piece to LSU basketball and a big time return. That’s who.

Yep, we were 19-1 last year when he scored double digits.
We were 0-9 last year when he scored single digits (or missed the game entirely).
The 1 loss we had when he scored double digits - 11 points vs. Texas Tech...he went out with 11 minutes left in the 2nd half with an injury. We got outscored 29-23 to close out that game to lose.

He’s not a superstar, but is the difference in LSU being a #4-#6 team in the SEC standings or them being a serious contender for the conference championship.

Didn’t Justin Smith just leave Arkansas with eligibility remaining to do the same thing?

Yep, he's been a glue guy big time the last 2 years, and will be the most experienced player on the roster next season by far here so that helps to stabilize the transition from last year's group to this year's much better.

He had played college ball for 4 years and earned his graduate degree already.
Earned business degree from IU followed up with graduate degree from Walton college of business. We all knew he was a one year player at Arkansas.
He will play overseas but is a really smart guy that will make as much money in the business world.
I’m guessing Days is still in Sophomore level classes. Maybe this will get you in the top 6 of the SEC next year or a Sweet 16 for Wade.
I doubt it though

Don’t take it out on LSU. I know being an Arkansas fan has to be extremely frustrating.

You seem bitter. By the way, LSU has been in the top 3 of the SEC the past three seasons (the only SEC team with that claim) and was in the Sweet 16 three seasons ago (two tournaments ago).

This is a basketball thread?
Yea, let me tell you being an Arkansas fan has been real hard hahahaha
Been a real tough year for Arkansas sports lmao.
I’ll send you a postcard from the tournament this year.
