How does it feel to beat your top rival, only to have your playoffs hopes dashed and then THEY make the playoffs. Damn, that must really suck.

And if Alabama wins the national championship this year, the only fan base who will end up caring about the final score of that game will be Auburn fans. And I'm willing to bet those Auburn fans who do care will be in a minority.

No team in the country played more than one playoff team. Auburn had 4 games against playoff teams and split 2-2 which is probably about what the group of playoff teams would have done. Bama played exactly zero playoff teams, got crushed by their rival. Congrats on the schedule I guess.
