Only recent history and because of the OU/UT name. The Sec will be The Conference and the big TV market. The Big 10 will expand to keep up. The ACC will continue to be relevant as long as Clemson is successful and the PAC 12 will upgrade its programs. The others will just be TV fodder.

No idea what this means and both Baylor and Houston had a pretty solid history going back to the 60's and 70's. quote:

Says who? Other than Oregon and USC recently,none have shown much interest in doing so.
Big 12 might not be able to keep up with the big boys but will be far ahead of AAC or USA.
BTW there isn't a G5 or P5 classification per se it's more of a media classification.

Baylor and OSU were afterthoughts when they were in the Big 8 and SWC. Very rarely relevant. Only when they formed the Big 12 did they get any attention and it took wins against OU/UT for anyone to pay attention. I think it goes back to the status quo after expansion.

I don’t understand why the winning coach has to wait on the losing coach to finish a press conference. The winner should go first.
