Couple years ago State showed some life and people expected them to continue to build on that. Last year they took a major step back, if they follow that up with equally disappointing season how hot is that seat?

Only way he would feel the heat after this year is if State didn't go bowling and they lost to Ole Miss.

Has to be Dooley. I do believe Mullen is overrated though. However, State is a dead end job IMO, do not many coaches will be successful there.

I think you've got us confused with OM on the speed at which a seat gets hot. Our expectation level stays more sane. 6-9 regular season wins every year...and hope a 1998 scenario plays out with a down Alabama and Lsu...

We won a total of 29 games in the 8 seasons prior to Dan Mullen. He will likely meet that number in his first 4. We are ok with that!

Is that you Barrett Sallee?

Impossible. Bob Toledo doesn't even have a seat anymore.

This. And did we put up another Merlins billboard or did he throw the mic at a booster event or what? Why the offseason obsession with Merl?

Not even a troll post, if I wanted to troll Ole Miss would have been mentioned as gaining steam and passing State

This.

I find it unbelievable that a school like Tennessee has him as its coach.

John L Smith is a better coach and that's embarrassing.
