17 of the top 25 QB's in the 2016 recruiting class have transferred.

LSU's only QB signee that year was Lindsey Scott, and although he was outside the top 25, he transferred as well.

Wonder why QBs are looked at as spoiled and special?

What a bunch of divas

Lindsey Scott

He's 3rd on our depth chart and could slide to 4th

Scott should have gone to a mid major or FCS school. Great kid, but not a power 5 QB.

QBs have to get on the field to improve and fulfill their dream of having potential at the next level.

Of course they’re going to shuffle around to try and achieve this.

I know that it is a different day and age.

But, I have a ton of respect for DJ Shockley.
One of the top DT QBs in the country.
He gets spot time through 3 years.

Goes on to win the SECCG in his 4th year and put together what was arguably one of the best single seasons for a QB at UGA in 2005.

The interviews at the time stated that DJ was a big reason why Fields felt comfortable stepping in to UGA with Fromm already firmly entrenched ahead of him. Fields even stated that he wasn't opposed to the redshirt idea at the time.

Less that 12 months after Fields commits, the entire landscape of college football has changed.
