Dallas Baptist 3, Missouri 2 FINAL (greco-roman baseball)

Last night, Missouri dropped a greco roman* baseball contest to DBU, giving up 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th to stun the Yankee Tigers in the opening game of the Frisco College Baseball Classic.
Before you say Big 12 board, SEC connection is: Missouri was a late replacement for Arkansas, who was intended to play in this classic until a reshuffled schedule due to Covid 19.
Let's keep this thread to the SEC angle here. I feel Arkansas would not have blow a late lead. We handled DBU in the past, even eliminating them from the Fayetteville regional as recently as 2018

I know it's fun to laugh at Mizzou baseball - and they are awful - but DBU isn't one of the smaller teams to be messed with. A tournament team 8 of the last 9 years.

They had a really good team a few years back. Made the supers I believe. Pretty sure they are just straight up better than Mizzou in baseball and this shouldn't be a surprise. It is fun to laugh at Mizzery though

The Cards won 83 in 2006, the WS trophy from that year is the same size as their other 10.

And that was probably the worst ever WS champion. There is something to being just good enough to make the dance each year and let the chips fall where they may. Regardless, that division still sucks. It needs the Astros.

Arenado is overrated. His career road wRC+ is 108. Get him out of Coors and he's just above avg hitting.
