Hardly any denials...and do you seriously think Bama would sweat 2 extra million?

Do you think he would say “I’d seriously give alabama a consideration if they came calling” ?

That would go over well.

Exactly. Just from business sense, Dabo's agent would shoot him. There is literally no guessing as to the amount Bama is going to throw at him if his career continues on this arc.

There's no need to keep posting stuff like this. Season after season is going to keep going by, the topic is going to continue to come up, and Dabo is still going to be at Clemson.

By the time Saban retires, going to Bama from Clemson is going to be a lateral move.

Your fanbase are so insecure they carry around $2 bills so people will know who they are. I don't care if Dabo is our coach or not but here is one thing I do know:

If Dabo leaves Clemson you will go back to being Clemson

Alabama will always be Alabama Dabo or no Dabo. We don't need him but you do. Think about it.

I would argue that Bama needs him more than anyone else.
-Who considers themselves the Kings of CFB, and rightly so?
-Who's ID is tied to their number of national championships?

When the time comes it may not be Dabo, but Bama needs THE alpha dog, title obsessed HC.

I'm not being critical. It's like I heard a national talking head say once: The rest of the country doesn't care about southern football. They want to know what Bama is doing.

Still, Swinney said, there's always a possibility that the dynamics change, and he won't suggest he'll never return to his home state to coach the Tide. "Who knows what's going to happen down the road? I have no idea," Swinney said.

Man THAT is a really strong denial isnt it?

"Who knows what's going to happen down the road?" = Dabo not going to Bama?

That's a really big reach you are making there.

if this is true, then why did Alabama pay sSaban so much.

could alabama be successful if they made a WR coach with no head coach, OC or DC experience the head coach.

They may do away with college football in three years. There may be no college football. They may want to professionalize college athletics. Well, then, maybe I'll go to the pros. If I'm going to coach pro football, I might as well do that. I may get a terrible president or a terrible AD one day. I don't know. I have no idea what's down the road.

Mr. Amateurism gettin' a little passive aggressive there. Guess the millions poring into his bank account isn't yet weighing on his conscience. Or is it?
