what we need is to get teams like USC and Michigan and Texas on schedule b/c you get the blueblood bounce by beating teams that have won titles in the past even if they aren't that good.

LSU barely beat Texas, a defense that almost lost to Kansas at home and gave up 60 points to them.
in my view, UNC, UVA, Wake, Lville, FSU, etc were all as good as the win over Texas AM. Mond is probably the worst QB Clemson faced this year.
you say they are our quality win but that's not based on anything real. Who did Texas AM beat to justify they are Clemson's best win this year. lol

He needs to stop whining. It's not flattering of him.
Is it his fault their conference sucks, no.
But it's not an issue of fault. It's an issue of 3 undefeated elite teams and the need to rank them by some metric other than "the eye test".
Strength of schedule is the best way.
Just say, "I believe my team is the best in America, but I understand that we didn't play the toughest schedule. I'm excited to be in the playoffs "
And then STFU.

reality is Clemson wouldn't lose to any team LSU beat and would have beat Ole Miss, Auburn and Texas more convincely.

Reality is actually that LSU has been more consistent than Clemson throughout the year and that the only way to KNOW how Clemson WOULD perform against any given team is to play them.
