But would not crack the top 5 in SEC.

Has he passed Bowden? Not sure I buy that. Would need to see all the numbers to support such a statement. Not trolling but genuinely curious.

No.

By what measure you talking about? Bowden has something like 10+ ACC championships

It took Bowden 37 years as HC to win a NC Dabo 7
Bowden has a losing to his biggest rivals Miami and Florida.

Not diminishing what Dabo has accomplished at all, he's an awesome coach, but to surpass Bowden is pretty high praise. That's all I'm saying.

Not so fast my friend.
Bowden won two natty's and FSU finished in the top-5 14 straight seasons. Incredible run.

And Gene Chizik won a title in his 4th year as a HC...

Bwahahaha
Fourteen consecutive Top 5 finishes is pretty spectacular. Bowden did it at former women’s university with a relative short CFB history.
He is behind Bryant and Saban only.

Bowden also took a program (FSU) with hardly any meaningful football history (basically the same level of a USM or Memphis State at the time) to a consistent top 5 program (with two NC's and runner-up finishes) for a decade and a half.

Give Bowden a playoff mulligan like Saban’s benefitted from, and he likely has 3-4 more NCs.

the ACC was a lot easier in the 90s prior to expansion, especially because Clemson fell off.
Being in Florida at that time was a major advantage for recruiting. it doesn't seem to be as much of an advantage now, perhaps because of UCF and USF getting some of the top in state talent.

The ACC is a joke now. Dabo’s done a great job but Clemson has zero comp.

Bowden would have had at least 5 NCs if there was a playoff. He finished 13 straight years ranked in the Top 3 at the end of the year. Most years the common phrase was "at the end of the year, FSU was the best team in the country". fricking Bama Fans can not see three inches in front of their face.

FSU also Did it going on the road five season in a row to LSU I believ to get their school established. Bowden was a trend setting great coach
