The NCAA will do everything in its power to keep the SEC from being able to have all four teams in the final four of the CWS.

Can only do so much when we're all playing 5-7 super regional quality series in conference play and almost all 10 regional quality teams. shite, the SEC tournament has a more quality slate of teams than the CWS in a lot of years.

Not talking shite. Just stating facts. Defend your home field tomorrow night and then let's see who wins the rubber match.

Btw it's way to easy to rustle some jimmies around here.

Remember when UCLA straight up abused the new ballpark coupled with the weak as shite bats and balls in 2012? Just threw belt high fastballs the whole CWS and got warning track outs on the way to a title. Won every game like 2-1 or 1-0.

No one cares about midweek games when your league is as tough as the SEC. Well except for A&M fans. We're measured on our weekend performances around here and UGA has the type of staff that can win you a title. They dont give a frick about a midweek game with a school thats missed the tourney 2 straight years and 3 of 4. Ga Tech athletics are finished. Over. You're Tulane now, just in a slightly better conference.

You're right, of course.

We have fans of some of the most successful college baseball programs in history who still get pissy about mid-week games. It's mind boggling

To give you credit, LSU fans were the ONLY fans not shitting all over A&M for losing midweek games to Incarnate Word and Dallas Baptist this season.

Ole Miss looked like the team we could be the past two weekends, but naturally we lost to a team ranked in the 290s midweek. Our team doesn’t make sense, but if our offense is starting to wake up, it’s hopefully going to take a lot of runs to beat us more often than not. Luckily for y’all, our pitching can be messy af. I’d say after winning at Baum and sweeping Florida, we should be in the top 15 and fringe top 10. Plus we get to avoid Georgia and have aTm and State at home. Granted, we’re @ Auburn and LSU, and we close the season @ Tennessee, who may or may not still be a baseball team in mid-May

If you don't have four ace starters in your rotation it's not uncommon to lose a midweek game that you shouldn't, especially if you have a bad hitting or fielding night.

Considering that A&M has yet to lose a game this season when Asa Lacey pitches, that's not happening. (6-0 with one no-decision, 7-0 total)

Some of the pitching in the least is unreal. Auburn has only lost 1 game Tanner Burns started (week 1) and has won every opening series games this year.

True, but Burns didn’t get the win against us.

I was just messing with yall over talking about beating Texas midweek last week, which actually is a really good win. And as LSU fans we know all too well that dropping a midweek game you should win doesn't really matter. When we lost to UF in the finals 2 years ago like half our losses were midweek.

I don't disagree with this until losing midweek games becomes a habit. It can bite you in the arse come late season rpi and seeding for the tournament.

Unless you’re losing more midweek games than you win, they don’t have an effect on anything. LSU seemingly loses 5 of them a year and keeps getting national seeds. If you take care of business on the weekend they simply don’t matter. If you struggle on the weekend AND in the midweek then sure. I believe LSU lost 6 or 7 midweek games two years ago but finished 21-9 in the SEC and still got a national seed.

This is how I see the Rebels season playing out, they have lost 6 non-conference games to date, but are currently on pace to win 20 conference games...and suddenly, the loss to UNA doesn't seem nearly as devastating.
