Currie is fired as AD. I assume this kills the Leach talks... Makes you wonder if interest in Leach was the straw that broke the camel's back. Does Phil Fulmer hate Mike Leach?

I think either Tee or Miles is who Fulmer wants. Maybe Fulmer just wants to be the ad, and doesn't have a coaching preference. Wouldn't be the first time he stabbed a boss in the back to get his job.

They must want to suck. Currie finally found a good coach and was fired for it. That's the only explanation that makes sense.

“Sources: John Currie was prepared to hire Mike Leach but university officials wouldn’t allow him to do so. Phillip Fulmer has been sabotaging search process in hopes to become Tennessee’s AD”

Treating a national treasure like Leach that way, well it's just downright awful.

This was a strike against the Haslams. Fulmer is no friend to them. I have no idea who the frick he wants though. Very mixed feelings about this because this was a battle won but perhaps a good coach lost.
