Ohio st and alabama always get the benefit of the doubt.
I guess it’s deserved.
Clemson seems to be one of those teams that always has the talent to win it all but we don’t get that respect.

Let's not pretend that Alabama hasn't played a decent schedule. In fact, their SOS is significantly tougher than anyone else in the top 5.
Maybe you don't like Sagarin ratings, but that's at least an objective measure that's based on some semblance of methodology instead of biased opinions. Here is today's Sagarin ratings.
The only way you can say that Bama hasn't played anyone in the top 25 is to take the "current ranking only" stance. Sagarin uses the ranking at the time the game is played. Both have merit, just pick one and be consistent.
