Just saw Herbstreit’s meltdown regarding BLM. I am not a racist and support social justice for ALL. However, I was embarrassed for his woke comments about social injustice. We ALL can do more to promote racial harmony, but he worked himself into a frenzy, which distracted from his message. I am not aware of any police officer who has shot and killed a college football player. Where is the outrage of the murders of INNOCENT CHILDREN? Maybe he should use some of his millions to address social justice issues! I will never look at Herbstreit the same.

What does this have to do with promoting social justice?? Just because a college player hasn't been killed, doesn't mean people have to turn a blind eye to it. (It's your first post, so it makes sense now lol)

Christian Taylor

I knew CT, he was a Freshman when I was at Angelo as a graduate assistant. He never seemed to be out of sorts around the locker or anything to do with the team. Went home hung out with some high school friends, got high on weed laced with something broke into a car dealership, didn't steal anything just kind of out of his mind. Rookie cop rushed ahead of the training officer and shot him, said that he thought he pulled his taser.

Did you really make your way here, and create an account, all to make a single post about something that occurred several days ago?

While it's undeniably a tragic situation, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. If you still want to play stupid games, you really shouldn't complain about the rules.

Was pathetic, probably one of the worst performances I have seen. I watched about 2 minutes of Arkansas State-Memphis and it was all they discussed.....turned it off.....Will be interesting to see how the networks react when ratings tank....

I don't believe him. It was virtue signaling, plain and simple.

What does BLM have to do with social justice or helping out black people? Nothing! BLM exploits black people for their own Marxist goals. BLM has done more to hurt blacks than help them.

So what about the STUPID Officer that didn't know the difference between his weapon and his taser? Should he not be held accountable for his actions?

Of course he should but that's why things should be handled on a case by base basis. I support cops because most are good, however, some are idiots and some are assholes. There was an autistic kid shot the other day by a cop. frick that particular cop. Poor kid is fighting for his life because the cop overreacted.

Absolutely but it doesn’t make him or the system racist and signal that society is out to get young black men.

It's a cash grab, plain and simple. The majority of people in college football are black and any white coach or broadcaster who wants to keep earning millions will go all in with the lefties to keep their paychecks coming. I would do it too if I had no other options, and they don't have any other options. The networks they work for are all liberal from top to bottom. Take a stand with conservatives and you are damn near black-balled in his industry.

ANNNND, this is the crux of the whole situation.

Just watched the George Floyd full video yesterday. It is 1000% evident that there were no racial overtones in what happened to George Floyd. The only racial issue is the question as to why Keith Ellison withheld that video from the masses. It clearly shows the officers treating Floyd with as much patience and care as possible, considering his lack of cooperation.
