All I see on this board is UGA fans worrying about Auburn and how they will fare against Clemson this week.

Aubie this and Aubie that....well the dawgs are -4 dogs and I don't see those Yankees from South Bend backing down. They would love nothing more than to break it off into UGA and beat their chest about how they beat an SEC school.

Just saying dawg fans, this game will be tougher than you puppies bargained for.

Solid buffoonery is solid... Most UGA fans are well aware that this game is by no means any kind of guaranteed win for us... and that's if we'd been starting Eason. Now we're starting a true freshman and our only benchmark for the team is against significantly weaker competition than what we're about to see. I believe we've got a good chance to walk away with a win, but certainly not going to be easy. We should know a lot more about what this team can be after this weekend though at least.

If Eason were healthy UGA would win in a blowout. I just don't know with a true freshman making his first start in the road.

Not sure App State is significantly weaker, Temple was, but that's Temple with a first year coach.

Notre Dame. May or may not be improved over last year. I would say we are at least evenly matched, if not more talented...

We are literally under-dawgs in this game based on the projected point spread if nothing else. Our fans are well aware that it's going to be an uphill battle will inherent home field advantage for ND. Plus, we lost our starting QB, Eason, early in game 1 so if Freshman QB, Fromm, goes down we are screwed for sure.

Fromm is a better player in general than Eason. But Eason has a bigger arm and prone to making mistakes and not progressing.

I am even more in favor of us winning with Fromm.

Rest of the SEC will get to see a young buck rise on Saturday night.

Side note: Looks like Eason might be making the trip and suiting up. So, there's that.

If Fromm can keep his head straight we will win, if not it will be nerve wracking.

But they're playing Notre Dame, not LSU.

Why is Notre Dame all of a sudden "good" ? They were 4-8 last year with a quarterback who was drafted in the second round and is starting in the NFL on Sunday. They just beat a Temple team that returned 10 total starters (114th in the country) and lost their head coach.

I think he will be put in a situation to make safe plays, just to be sure.

I agree with the other poster asking the question "Why is Notre Dame all of a sudden good?".

Temple is a very bad team with a new coach and still put up 16 points.

Notre Dame's QB was 3rd string on last years 4-8 team. Do you think he just became a rock star player ?

Not convinced unless I see them blow our doors off.

We didn't start those threads. We just commented in the threads. It's going to be a great game. Nothing unusual about us commenting on a big game. We aren't worried about how Auburn does in their game. That is their responsibility. I hope they do well, but I am not "worried" about it.

Did somebody give you the impression that we think it will be an easy game? We don't think that. We know Notre Dame is picked to do well this season. We also know it is tough to play in South bend. It's also pretty obvious that Notre Dame is favored to win.

Does this make you happy? can you relax, now?

The title of the thread sucks.
