You could take LSU 2019 offense add Devontae Smith and healthy Jaylen Waddle and combine 2011 Alabama and LSU defense and the answer would still be no.

So essentially an entire team of nothing but first round draft picks couldn’t beat the worst NFL team?

If the team you described existed, they’d be 30 point favorites over the Jets.

The answer to this question is always going to be no. It doesn't matter what the teams are on either side. It's still no.

I recently found out they used to play a NFL/College game.

It was the college all stars vs the defending super bowl champs...

Ended in the 70's.

The college team used to win pretty often at first.

There has never been any college team that could beat any NFL tean regardless of how bad they are.

QW would wreck our OL like he did in practice a few years ago

The biggest problem with these is in the trenches. Even the very best college OL/DL generally take a few years to become really good NFL players. Even the best college teams generally don't have entire rosters on both sides of NFL linemen.

Alabama is probably as close as you'll find on the offensive line, but our defensive line would get mashed.

Most of those players are NFL players. I like their odds vs the 0-11 Jets.

If you took

- 2019 LSU skill players + Waddle/DeVonta/Najee
- 2020 Alabama offensive line
- 2011 Alabama/LSU defensive combined

All as their college version in that year

I think that team would compete with a terribad NFL team. Mainly because their OL and DL would at least be semi-competitive.

Of course, that's about as good a "college team" as you could put together . Everyone on that college roster is an NFL player and most of them are top 4 round picks.

I would say unequivocally yea… HELL NO!!

Think about the difference between high school and college players. It’s a few years to develop. Now compound that with the best of the best college players.

We’d beat them as bad as we did MSU. Can you imagine to losing to this MSU team? Oof!

We had an incredibly uncharacteristically bad game on offense and still had a 20-0 game until the last 40 seconds.

My guess is bama will be closer to 40-0 since they are just that much better than us.

If you look a few posts up you will learn that there was a time when it could and did happen.

That ship sailed a long time ago but your never has been statement isn’t accurate.

They might beat the Patriots, unless they all rode to the stadium in a

Cam-back.

( Yes I know its a Kammback) !
