We all know Alabama from any year could never have beaten any NFL team. Is it possible though that Alabama (choose from any era/season) could have beaten a CFL team?

I'm thinking no.

Someone in Tuscaloosa just retroactively claimed 7 Grey Cups for the Tide after reading your question.

Which rulebook would govern the game?

CFL teams are much smaller than NFL teams. Much more of a debate than a NFL team.

But then again shouldn't we be asking if Clemson could be a CFL team?

Yes.

If Alabama can’t beat a college team, they damn sure can’t beat a pro team.

Clemson on the other hand could beat the Patriots in my honest opinny.

This reminds me of Stand By Me

“Could Mighty Mouse beat Superman? “

“No. He’s a mouse.”

Nope. They already deemed last year the greatest team in history and couldn't even stay within 3 TDs of Clemson.

We would have to hire a QB like AuFBIurn did with Newton and then it's a possibility.

Y'all have bought plenty of 4 and 5* QB's under Saban. He just can't get them NFL ready.

The two QBs who just finished up on ESPN2 are hot garbage. Almost LSU level.

ETA: Except the CFL QBs did manage to score.

The same as us. The NCAA declared he was eligible. Not the other way around.

Not to Auburn and who knows how the negotiations work at Bama. They probably just bring in a catalog of cars and let them pick and have a set rate for the fathers.
