How can the HC catch the virus and not have the entire team in quarantine ? I think the SEC contact tracing protocol is lip service anyway.

Of what ? I posted it before, AU chances of winning decreased with Saban at home. His IB coaching decisions have contributed to at least two AU wins in the Gus Era.

That's the point of the social distancing protocols, genius.

Sounds like Bama has done a good job keeping everyone separated.

Saban has Covid and now Auburn doesn't want to play? Very bizarre melt.

Auburn has one reported case. I do not see them backing out. Just curious if this was the first volley from Bama about postponing the game.

I think it is a fair question.

I also think several who bet on the spread for games are wondering the same thing.

It's pretty simple really. As long as he's wearing his mask, which at his age I would assume that he is, he does affect contact tracing at all. He would have to be within 6 feet of a player for 15 minutes when both are not wearing a mask. I can't see that happening for a head coach.

You can’t catch it from a coach who’s stepping over you while having a seizure.

Again, the HC has meetings with his staff, who meet with the teams. If contact tracing only involved mask issues, then nobody would be quarantined.

His IB coaching decisions

Worst decision ever was in 2013 when Alabama was up 7 with 5 minutes to go on the 13 yard line, and he elects to go for it on 4th and 1.
Even with our shitty kickers, there would have been a 90% chance of making a 29 yard FG.

So many things in the SEC world have, but it's still fun to reminisce.

The link has been posted here many times. I don't feel like digging for it.

It also doesn't only involve masks. As long as they're at least 6 feet apart in those meetings, that isn't considered high risk and they're not subjected to contact tracing issues.
