All Bama hate here, but let’s be honest you are much better team than Ohio State. Hopefully this will move us to 8 team playoffs faster. 5 conference champs two at large and best of group of 5. (Let teams like Central Florida have a shot)

This years team is not very good by Bama standards and u are still going to playoffs. You gumps better be enjoying this, it will not last forever.

Anyway congrats, you obnoxiousness Satan worshiping mfer bastards. (Also, sorry Auburn fans but I told you so )

Yes, it will eventually end..... but hopefully not for another 5 years...

Alabama is going to be almost fully healthy, the first time this season since the FSU game. It will be a much different team that Clemson faces than the one they will see on film... most of Bama's LB will be back.....

They should never guarantee all the PF Champs a slot. Earn it on the field.

Nope I am old and wiser, I had zero doubts you were in. You want screen shot of where I texted my Bama friends after the auburn loss and told them do not dispair if Oklahoma or Wisky lost they were in? Lol

Satan runs the world, the Bible even admits it. Why should he not run college football .

All else aside, I don’t want a college football playoff system that rewards losses to 7-5 teams whether they are named Ohio State or Alabama or LSU.
In your scenario UCF gets in. I’ve got no problem with that. But who is 5-7? USC? Another 2 loss team with an embarrassing loss and another to Wazzu. Wiskey? Only one loss but an ashamedly weak schedule and didn’t pass the eye test last night. Auburn? They’ve got 3 losses. Too many.
Penn State? Back to back conference losses to 2 of the 3 ranked teams on their schedule and no conference championship game weakens their argument. Norte Dame? They look eliminated themselves with 2 late season losses to Miami and Stanford (their 3rd loss).
That’s all the teams in the AP top 10. There are huge flaws with 4-10 except for UCF. What this season really shows is not the need for an 8 team playoff, on the contrary, it shows that there will be some years like this one where 4 is actually too many. The controversy isn’t because two great, well deserving teams are vying for the 4th spot. The controversy is which team has the fewest warts and what can we overlook? It also shows the inherent bias against the G5 because no team can do more than UCF has done or has been more deserving of that 4th spot.
Eight team playoff? Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

I have wanted 8 teams from start, Hell 16 is fine with me.

My Stepdad was AA college coach with a good team that was always in playoffs. It was great. All those games with Georgia Southern and Furman, Appie State, etc.

There were always surprise teams and teams that would go on a run. It was kinda like March madness.
