.... Wait a second....

As Ole Miss Screams "Stop the Count", it looks like the new champ is the Mississippi St Bulldogs. More people watched them lose to the Dirtbags than anyone else.

Where are those numbers from? Could've sworn I saw that we set a school record with like 34k or something.

I know we had like 12k for Friday and Saturday, which means by those numbers no one showed up to the Sunday game

for whatever reason, State's website doesn't have an attendance figure listed for Sunday's game, so that total is just for Friday and Saturday. Friday's attendance was 10,223 and Saturday's 13,351. Whoever put this list together was pretty lazy.

Does Ole Miss just pick a random number out of thin air and call it their capacity?

Generally, yes. I’m surprised we don’t say 20K TBH.

Damn. UF fans actually starting to support the program with it's new stadium?

There was not 10k at either ole miss from what I saw. Seems high for LSU especially Friday and Sunday

Don't they always? They have actual seats for like 5-6k people. I just have a hard time believing the outfield seating doubles that. I've sat out there for an NCAAT game, albeit it's been awhile now, and there's definitely not 5-6k people out there.

Friday was a packed crowd. Fridays and Saturdays also typically have better attendance than Sunday

Offical NCAA Website.

But now that you say that I do remember seeing it too.

Not sure where the disconnect is.

Gotcha, i wasn’t able to attend and it didn’t really look packed on TV. I know a bunch of people didn’t go with the cold weather.

It did at first pitch, even in the outfield bleachers, but once LSU got up 8-0 in the 7th, the crowd started to thin out. It was actually great weather for baseball Saturday and Sunday, sunny and in the mid 60s

Clarion ledger said MSU had 34,325 accumulative

It’s ridiculous to even think the defending national champs would have the lowest percent of stadium capacity in the SEC opening weekend.
