This is a not so subtle brag, but if we can make an improbable run to the final 4 last year, I think any team from the SEC this year can too. I have Arkansas being a team I'm really thinking may have the magic formula to do so. Common denominators seem to be senior guards and a rim protector which they check off both boxes. I like their bracket to at least make the sweet 16 and anything goes from there. Purdue will be tough but they always choke.

Sleeper pick is Florida. We weren't playing well entering the tournament and got on a run. Chiozza and Allen can get hot and carry the team with past experience. Lack of post play is evident though.

I think Bama blew it's wad last week but I am really rooting for them. It always seems the hottest team from the SEC-T always seems to get ousted early. I like watching Sexton and hope they make it far.

I don't like inconsistencies from A&M and Mizzou. Don't see them making it past round 1. Auburn lost so much when McLemore went down. They aren't the same team I'm afraid and won't make it past the first weekend.

Tennessee and UK are the ones I can't quite tell how they'll do in this thing. UK got screwed being a #5 with Arizona in their way. Zona chokes often too but think Davidson provides enough of a scare that Arizona may get to play a team happy to be there after barely squeaking by round 1. Also, see my previous response about hottest teams end up faltering usually unless they have a supreme talent advantage and don't think this particular UK team is like the previous ones like last years team.

Tennessee I could see making it to final 4 and could also see them getting upset in round 1. Completely don't know what to expect. For now, I have them in Sweet 16 and losing to Cincinnati. Good news and bad news is Cincy, UVA, and Tennessee all seem to play the same style that will give teams that aren't used to them issues similar to how we did last year. They are in a bracket where 2 of them may do it a little better though. Time will tell.

I think Arkansas will be the final SEC team standing and lasting the longest. Hopefully someone makes it to San Antonio

Not bad picks at all. I like Tennessee to get to the final 4 and maybe win it. They have been tough against top teams from beginning to end. I thought they would melt over the course of the season, but they haven't.

As astute as Troy's picks on The Morning Drive.

Does Mizzou have a shot against Xavier if they get past FSU?

If Barford and Macon are clicking, I can see us winning 3 games or so.

I can also see us losing to Butler on Friday.

Not that I see Bama going deep, but I'm not sure a team that got spanked in the semis could be considered "the hottest team in the SEC tournament"

I feel the same way here. I have UT losing to Cincy too, but hard to tell how good Cincy is when they're playing in the AAC.

Umm, yeah Bama was not the hottest team in the SECT by a long stretch.

Got Mizzou and Arky getting bounced round one. UF, aTm, and Bama taking L's the round after that. Leaving Auburn, Tennessee and Kentucky making it to and ultimately losing in the sweet 16.

Good write up ... I'm really pulling for everyone in the league to kick arse and take names in this tourney.

Good luck everyone!

So Bamas second most efficient offensive game for the entire season wouldn't crack Villanova's top 25

Bama not only needs to be hot, they need a lot of luck that Nova has the rare game they can't shoot
