Committee chairman said there was very little separation and UGA got nod due to comparison of resumes. I think they got the top four right at this juncture.
UGA will play now-ranked AU. Bama will play now-ranked LSU, MSU & AU. If UGA and Bama win out, their resumes will improve.
However, AU will then have two more losses and MSU & LSU will have one more loss. Will they still be ranked then? If not, they may not be viewed as such high-quality wins for UGA and Bama.
