Congrats Bryce Young. But you have to admit…

This was one of the weakest and most uninteresting group of Heisman finalists that I can remember in recent history. Had barely even heard of Huthcinson and Pickett…and Stroud is definitely not the star like some of the other OSU QBs we’ve seen in the past. Weak competition.

Compare to Joe Burrow’s class: Chase Young, Justin Fields, Jalen Hurts. All freaking studs.

They should have given it to Burrow again.

No he’s right. No one cares about the Heisman this year. Congratulations to Alabama you have killed college football.

Meh. It was the year of the underdog. Guys like Pickett and Hutchinson are Cinderella stories from Cinderella teams. C.J. Stroud is a true freshman who defied the odds, won the starting job, and ignited a high-powered offense. Bryce Young was the quiet but confident understudy to the most efficient passer in college football history. And besides, Will Anderson Jr. is better than all of the aforementioned players - save perhaps Joe Borrow - and he wasn't even a finalist.

OP has a valid point. Burrow was barely better than the competition, and truth be told, he only received more hype. The 83% vote total for BY proved he was far and away the only deserving candidate.

Jalen Hurts and Justin Fields are both worse than Bryce Young

Will Anderson and Hutchinson are every bit as good as Chase Young and Anderson is better

Jalen is the man but he literally transferred because he lost his job

Justin Fields was basically exactly what Stroud is this year

The names in the 2019 class are bigger because all of them are in the NFL right now.

It has been decades since people cared about the Heisman. Tell me the last 10 winners without looking it up.
Now tell me the last 10 winners of the National Title.
