Confirmed tornado just passed near the Mississippi State campus

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR CENTRAL
OKTIBBEHA COUNTY...
At 1000 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located over Craig Springs, or 9 miles southwest of Starkville,
moving northeast at 40 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.

There is a tornado on the ground in Starkville. I’m in meridian and it hasn’t hit yet. Wind is blowing hard though. Also read of one in Columbus?

It does not look as impressive on radar now. If there is a tornado, it looks like may go just east of Starkville. People in Starkville should stay in their safe place though.

There are no tornado warnings around Columbus, and there haven't been any so far today. The potential tornado looks to be just southeast of Starkville.

Definitely still on the ground, still seeing a debris signature on radar.
