Good thing they play the game on the field and not on PS4 or paper huh?

Odd to see that MS ST is in the top 10 in both Defense and Offense.

What would Bama’s numbers be if the starters played more than 1 3/4 quarters?

To be fair, MS ST played with the back up QB in game one and had the largest participation of any SEC team on defense.

Look, I know you're trolling and MSU is a nice team. But wins over Steven F., ULL and at K-State tell us nothing about this team other than they are pretty good. K-State needed a fourth quarter comeback to beat South Dakota at home...not South Dakota State, South Dakota. They are South Dakota State's little brother.

Maybe, but it is where we are right now. It's all we have to go with.

ESPN is now picking MS ST to finish behind us. They are favored (60%) to beat you, 61% to beat Auburn, 63% to beat TAMU.

ONLY 13% against Bama

I don't think Miss. State beats a single one of those teams. You can find my preseason post-I said you'd be very good but finish 8-4 with losses to LSU, A&M, Auburn and Bama and I stick with that. It's a tough year in this division, except for the bottom which looks more like the SEC East used to look when Vandy and KY were always bad.

Which reminds me, you need to handle Kentucky this week before you go spouting off about LSU, A&M and Auburn, all of whom have been battle-tested.

You think a team that returns the 99% of it's defense, added depth like Rivers and more and was ranked #10 at the end of the season last year is magically bad?

They return most of the offense, added Hill, WRs is all of the sudden horrible?

You think losing all of your production last year and adding a 45% passer makes you WAY BETTER than last year?

When discussing the top teams in the SEC West, it makes more sense to use standings:

SEC West

1.) Alabama 1 - 0
2.) LSU 1 - 0
3.) MS State 0 - 0
4.) Texas A&M 0 - 0
5.) Arkansas 0 - 0
6.) Mississippi 0 - 1
7.) Auburn 0 - 1
