If the committee believes they had accurately gauged Penn St, They have to admit they did not accurately gauge Minnesota.

Minnesota was clearly the better team versus Penn St.
LSU was clearly the better team versus Alabama.

IMHO
1. 9-0 LSU
2. 9-0 Ohio St
3. 10-0 Clemson
4. 9-0 Minnesota
5. 8-1 Alabama
6. 8-1 Georgia
7. 8-1 Penn St
8. 8-1 Oklahoma
9. 8-1 Oregon
10. 8-1 Utah
11. 8-2 Florida
12. 9-0 Baylor
13. 7-2 Auburn
14. 7-2 Michigan
15. 7-2 Wisconsin

Not gonna change your mind. You're right. Minnesota should be a top 4 team after beating Penn State.

Bama had their opportunity for a statement win, and lost. Minnesota on the other hand took full advantage of theirs and whipped a top 4 blue blood.

If they beat Iowa and Wisconsin, they might.

Minnesota yes.

Baylor, no.

I notice you left 8-1 Penn State out of your rankings.

They should be put behind all power 5 teams who are more than likely going to win whatever their division is

By all means, move Minnesota above Alabama. They've earned it. But I feel as if they are going to lose at least two games before the season is over, so all of this is moot.

Penn State could beat Ohio State and Minnesota. That would make it interesting.

Doesn’t matter, if Minnesota can survive the brutal schedule they have coming up, they are in.

If their only loss is to Ohio State, they will still have a much better resume

They have Oklahoma and Texas back to back at home. If they win both, they're in the mix.

I think he is saying PSU over Minnesota in B10CG. I dont think it would be interesting, I think PSU would obviously be in. assuming Minnesota both won all of their other games I think the committee would lean Ohio St over Alabama and Minnesota.

Minnesota could easily have a letdown this week @iowa, but for right now, the committee needs to respect Minnesota with a #4.

Texas is a meh win at best. They have not lived up to expectations at all this season.

Oklahoma is Baylor's only shot at a somewhat impressive win all season, and Oklahoma is tainted with a loss too. They aren't a realistic playoff contender with as many other great teams have emerged. Baylor is shaping up a lot like UCF did a few years ago.

This. And I agree that they should put these undefeated teams up higher, including Baylor that everyone is loving to shite on right now. I get that everyone assumes they will lose, but if they don't and end up going undefeated, they have to climb out of a huge undeserved hole just because people thought there was no way they were going to win out. It's dumb. Reward the season instead of just guessing at rankings.

I don't get this line of thinking. Sure, eye tests shows that Oklahoma is the better team, but they have a common opponent and the results are not even close.
