Best opening game of the series. Texas has been to CWS more than anyone and tied with LSU with 6 championships.
Miss State was the first big SEC baseball school and grandfather of SEC baseball, has been to 3 straight CWS, and it’s overdue for a Championship. If we can’t win it it needs to be you or Vandy, but this can be your year. You had a tough regional, a bad draw in the supers and drew the number 1 seed in CWS, yet you are still playing.
Geaux State. It’s beef for dinner tonight!

If Vandy advances (which it will) and MSST beats them, then everyone else starts whining that Vandy has an asterisk bc they didn’t actually win their series to advance.

Now it comes down to game 3. It will be close thru 7 but the dawgs will pull away in late innings and claim their overdue championship in baseball and bit of revenge for another Southern state school.
