For Alabama, it's the University of Alabama with 17 (12 poll championships), the North Alabama Lions come in second with 3.

are you sure it isn't Delta State? They've had some great baseball teams and football teams and won titles in both i believe

Delta State has 8 national championships and like 60 conference championships
i could only find 3 football championships for JSU couldn't find any for other sports. I don't doubt it though. Mississippi is known for fantastic athletics

Delta has 8 national championships in various sports (football and baseball mostly)
Belhaven has 3 (soccer and tennis)
JSU has 3 HBCU football titles
Mississippi College has one D2 title but it was forfeited for one of the worst cheating scandals in NCAA history - damn Baptists.
No other on the field/court national championships for Mississippi colleges. Ole Miss has between 0-3 football championships.
