So how bad could be it? In terms of NCAA rules, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports that the material obtained threatens the fundamental structure and integrity of the sport, as there’s potentially as many 50 college basketball programs that could end up compromised in some way.

quote:

It’s not the mid-major programs who were trying to buy players to get to the top,” one of Schlabach’s sources said. “It’s the teams that are already there.”

quote:

"It will impact every major conference, Hall of Fame coaches, a score of current top players and some of the nation’s most distinguished and respected programs."

quote:

almost half of the 16 teams the NCAA showed on its initial NCAA tournament show this weekend should worry about their appearance being vacated

It's going down boys

a sport that common fans even knew and freely discussed being dirty as all hell is being outed as being dirty as all hell and I’m sure there will be fans proclaiming their schools dignity and squeaky clean innocence

College hoops corruption case poised to take down Hall of Fame coaches, top programs, lottery picks

I doubt the lottery picks care if their college stats are vacated and the FBI isn't targeting them. Not sure why they listed them as part of the "take down"

Heck, even the current "lottery picks" have played enough to be fine sitting out the rest of the year

What they aren't telling you though, is that they dont mean just in basketball.
Bama will no doubt be caught up, and the NCAA will use this to finally infiltrate the Bama AD and take down Nick Saban and the Tide for good.

As long as it’s an equal/fair gutting the guilty and not willy nilly random handpicking of who gets punished, then I’m all for it.

Nope. I have it on good authority. And my sauces are better than Milo's.

Do you really sit in your Grandma's basement and hope someday that Bama or Nick Saban will go down. Have we put that much fear into you that you become so obsessed with us. Sounds like you need a therapist.

Sources have confirmed that Bruce Pearl's past bad behavior was of particular interest and gave the NCAA cause to look further into the Auburn AD going back to Auburn's 2010* national championship season. Witnesses include Terry Bowden and the discovery of a "black book" which provides insight into how far back the investigation goes which is justified by the fact of Pat Dye's continued involvement in the program and even has an office there.

Sources didn't specify when, but Auburn has received an LOI.

He used to work for the New York Times, so half-assed reporting is in his DNA.

it sure doesn't surprise me. it starts before college with the so-called AAU (which is respectable in most sports) scene and their networks and handlers. it's like they have "agents" at age 12 or so. and now there's the one and done rule.

imo, college basketball deserves to be "taken down" and returned to the colleges. the NBA needs to start up their minor league program again. frankly, it would help the situation if the biggest crooks in this deal would get the death penalty.
