Just really poorly done. Bad content. Bad production. Technical problems.

Not nearly as bad as the threads here lately.

It’s been bad for a while

I imagine the CV19 reductions in staff and program support are still having an effect with Variant D emergence.
That said, glad to see the team back together with Corso back on set.

College football is just not balanced anymore. Everyone knows it’s Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma and UGA

Going to get better in just a bit. They are going to bring on a 4 star general as guest picker.

Like almost everything else in American entertainment, the people who create the content are disconnected from the target audiences. Some that may be intentional - as in they're force feeding us to change our perspectives. But some is likely just a disconnect from actual sports fans (in this case, midwestern and southern CFB fans).

Ehh..
Ohio State, Oklahoma, and UGA haven’t won titles in like 41 years, 21 years, and 6 years.
Oklahoma and Clemson have benefited from terrible conferences. Ohio State on that path as well.

It's really not that bad, Karen.

It's early in the season, give them a chance. Herby hasn't started crying yet.

I still like it and will continue to watch on Saturdays. They need to force Corso into retirement though

Like almost everything else in American entertainment, the people who create the content are disconnected from the target audiences.
The difference then was, while the producers and creative types had little in common with the general public, they relied on local distribution chains that were completely reliant on local revenue to keep their doors open, so content was more geared to popular taste (despite the preferences of the creators, who frequently looked down upon the consumers of their product as “rubes”).
I think the disconnect we see now is, thanks to technology, they are no longer tied to local markets for widespread dissemination of their programming.

But are they woke enough?

I never cared for any of the prognostications. Just give me the games, and do them well, please!

It’s 75% over-produced sob stories and pointless agenda bullshite that has nothing to do with college football. I tune in fro hear them talk football and to see the cool parts of the campus they’re visiting. If I wanted something that feels like it was generated by one of the awful 24 hours news network, I’d watch them instead.
