College football is sh*t this year

Just a pretty down year for overall greatness. I'm not sure any team this season could beat a hand full of teams from previous years.
Ohio State sucks
LSU is pretty good
Alabama is really good but their defense is a weakness relatively speaking
Michigan sucks
FSU sucks
Clemson very meh
Notre Dame isn't even very good. Should have lost to Vanderbilt

barn does suck but college football is definitely lacking an ensemble of complete teams. everyone seems to have a glaring weakness

Yeah outside of Bama there haven't been any dominant teams. Even UCF can't blow out garbage teams this year.

Michigan is much improved but when you consider them in comparison to what an elite team should be they're not great

Bama has a down day and wins by 29.

why is everyone so worried about that? Am i not capable of observation? I don't actually mind. College football has become less and less important to my life over the past several years and I'm thankful I don't get down when we lose

I do question if you're look at it lucidly. Past years have been pretty much the same as this one. There are approximately 10 undefeated teams right now. Some of them are pretty damned good. Sometimes they have off days. This sort of thing has been happening for a century. Hell, Upset Week has become almost a tradition. The only reason there's no clear-cut match-up for Bama right now is because they've been otherworldy, not because other top teams suck. This would have been exactly the same last year had Tua (in his current level of experience) started last season.

that's a failure in logic. By the same token if your team is excellent you may overestimate how good everyone is
