interesting article in the Detroit Free Press.

In the SEC, we have what some call the, "Big Six" (Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee).

Well, some are now naming a national "Big Six" (Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, and Oklahoma), for having a seemingly undeniable lock on the top recruits from around the country. The next two after the "Big Six" are Oregon and Notre Dame.

"Wisconsin and Tennessee will never compete for a national championship"
....some strong words, here!

The writer, many feel (including me), is dead-on correct! The pooling of recruits to just a few programs could be disastrous for college football.

Everyone cheats. NCAA needs to be blown up and athletes need to paid out in the open. Sunlight on sketchy recruiting practices is the best thing. It would even the playing field.

You used to be a much better poster before LSU beat Georgia by 100 in Atlanta

This is the only explanation for Harbaugh not being able to win big games at Michigan

That’s irrelevant to modern times. Y’all want to talk about who’s won the most natty’s in the past but that has zero to do with current recruiting and who’s been playing the best the past few years.

By your logic Nebraska, Miami, and ND should be ADDED.

Well they have won a championship in the last 20 years.

And two since Georgia last got one.

The whole article is about recruits wanting to play in the CFP, so that's kind of irrelevant.

Pretty sure Georgia has finished ranked pretty damn high the past few years.
