I'm guessing you've never been to Omaha. It's a surprisingly cool town with a great live music, bar and restaurant scene (in the Old Market district). And that's coming from someone who lives in Austin, one of the best live music, bar and restaurant scenes in the country.

I saw the Cincinnati baseball team at the airport when they came to play Tulane this year. They looked like a bunch of scrawny nerds.

Football natty's are won by institutionalized cheating, period. Men's basketball is really goddamned hard to win, even for the big time cheaters.
Baseball isn't like that. Up to this point anyway.
