Vandy made quite a jump this week.

Not sure that Vandy deserves to be that high. Still a very flawed team.

I'm surprised Ole Miss dropped in the D-1 poll that much after losing two 1-run games @ a good Vanderbilt team. They thumped USM in mid-week also.

Lack of pitching depth is beginning to rear it's ugly head. Had multiple run leads in both games and pitching gave them up.

I would saw back end of the top 10 and to around 20ish are very similar. One good weekend and you could jump way up or fall way down.

It was probably a little harsh. But we haven’t played very well the last two weeks. Especially pitching and defending.

This Florida team may be better than last years National Championship team, luck has to go your way to win it all but if all things are equal in regard to luck, this team should win it again. Better offense, solid pitching and fielding. Go Gators.

Losing 4 of their last 7 games has hurt.

Agreed. Wish we would've played our series with you at Baum earlier this year.

It's crazy to see Oregon State hasn't played a single T25 team this far into the season. Indiana and Illinois, only 1.

Doesn't D1 weight the last 10 games played pretty heavily?

And yeah....we deserved to drop.

Hopefully we don't have anyone left on our schedule that can't figure out how to make grass grow on their infield. Past too weekends haven't treated us very well.

If we don't lose some games, we are going to have so much pressure to win the CWS it will suck arse. We have been the overall favorite plenty of times and I hated it. You saw what happened to Oregon State last year. No thank you. I prefer to see us get into a little funk.

I enjoy it when we’re a little closer to the top.

Added Collegiate Baseball & Coaches.

Can someone tell me why Collegiate ranked to 31? (not 25 or even 30)

it's usually been 30. Only thing I can think of is this week 2 teams are tied at 21 in their poll

Would be a hell of a series now that we seem to have shored up our fielding and found a second starting pitcher.

Both were huge issues the first time we played at Gainesville.

Playing the current #6 team....Win one, lose one in extra innings and the other by 1 and drop 5 in the rankings to #23. Makes sense
