Baseball is, without question, a big sport in this conference and in this region. I’m sorry your school isn’t good at it

And yet even in the SEC only 4 schools turn a profit.

Fine it’s a Big sport in 2 states!

It’s a big sport in this entire conference and region.

A lot of basketball programs barely turn a profit or don’t at all. I know y’all think the net revenue argument is persuasive but it’s just not.

Idk Maybe you just have a warped view of what actually makes money in college athletics. Basketball loses money more places than it doesn’t

How much money a sport makes a school isn’t mutually exclusive with how popular a sport is.

Literally whatever college sport is being played April - June (Volleyball typically concludes in December, btw)

You literally answered a question with the question...

Q: Who wears black clothes?
A: Literally any person that wears black clothes

Do you know what a question is? It ends with this thing called a question mark that looks like this: ?

That poster asked what I was comparing baseball to in April - June. I said literally any college sport played from April - June.

Did you notice the lack of a question mark there? How again is that answering a question with a question?

It's not my fault that said poster couldn't have then looked up what sports were played in those months. I mean, I know most SEC schools aren't renown for their academics, but that should've been pretty easy to comprehend

As a fan of a school with massive baseball tradition I have to agree.

It’s a niche sport, if your school happens to be good at it. Even then most of the fan base doesn’t give a rip.

LSU may be an exception and some smaller schools in Cali where baseball is really their thing.

You lost me with when I saw the grammar/punctuation police siren going off in your first sentence so I didn't read the rest. I wouldn't want to keep you away from very busy schedule of making sure grammar and punctuation is correct in SECRANT comments. Despite context making it absolutely clear what was said. What a douche??? Oh wait...

Lol now you're mad because you don't understand the difference in what is a question and what isn't
