Cole Cubelic computes that State will beat LSU

On a local Birmingham sports radio show, Cole Cubelic (of SEC network, etc. fame), will run his "Rubik's Cubelic", a predictor of the outcome of upcoming games.
He will factor in things like turnover margins, 3rd down conversions, rushing yards per game, etc. and spit out a + or - number, the higher number, the larger the margin of victory.
His calculations have been amazingly accurate over the past couple of years that I've heard him do this. One notable one he did last year, was that he computed that Clemson would fairly well handle Alabama. And we know how that turned out.
Today, he said that State is "+0.5" over LSU. That equates to a narrow win for the Bulldogs.
Just passing along some information and if State does indeed win, Cole told you they would.

Does he factor in performances against Tennessee? Or Kansas State?

Yep, he has his formula and sticks with it even if it defies his common sense. He is good at commentating on the oline, but other than that he doesn't really know shite. He isn't the worst radio/tv commentator, I think that is Cowherd. I don;t know his prediction record but I do remember him being wrong many times.

You see, this is where your story falls apart. If you put in the true numbers, there is no way this is even close.
IF....if LSU does lose, it will be because they completely overlooked State. Not because of any calculations.

Sounds like the “Rubik's Cubelic” needs to go into moratorium.
