Regardless of your opinion of Ed, good or bad, these two boys of his are impressive
There are Youtube interviews of them back in high school when they were signing with McNeese State, and it was stunning to me their level of awareness in communicating about the game of football.
Parker played WR and punt returner three years at McNeese State, injuries ended that early, then he was a student asst there for one year and transferred to LSU where he's basically a student asst for his dad.
Cody is in his fifth year as a QB at McNeese, a two year starter, has already graduated, and has also expressed his intent to be a coach.
They aren't just good communicators, they are/were really good players. They could have walked on at D1 schools and rode the pine in the big time, but instead they played at the 1-AA level and actually played meaningful years on the field.
I actually clicked the Youtube videos of them after signing out of high school, thinking "I wonder if they come across as goofy as their dad?" Well, they don't. Impressive young men who were really good players, and they sound very intelligent football-wise. Since they were WR and QB, I wonder how much they learned watching Joe Brady's offense.
Wouldn't surprise me if they're both major college offensive coordinators at a young age.

They were spoiled brats in Oxford. Probably even worse now.

Maybe that's a product of being in Oxford more than anything?
